New water drinker for my aviary - suggestions?

I'm looking to finally get a decent water drinker for my aviary, the large plastic tub they have always gets dirty very quickly. Any suggestions on what to get for an aviary with a lot of finches? There's a lot of options, I need something hygenic, that holds a lot of water, and that they can't bathe in.

Like the anti-algi one, but it's for cages, wonder if I could just stand it upright in the aviary and that would work?

I use the anti-algae one and I love them. I don't know how they'd work standing up. Perhaps you could make a 'stand' for it. Good luck.

Both those drinkers look like they are made to be attached to wire, so I would wonder if they will stand up without being knocked over. Maybe better to get a hanging waterer that has a little roof on it so the birds don't poop in it.

When my husband and I turned the sunroom into an aviary we made a door of cage material. We then used the "leftover" cage pieces to hang them on 2 walls. They are about a foot wide and maybe 3 feet high. These cage pieces are great for hanging feeders that you would usually use for a normal bird cage. I currently have one water tube and one seed hopper on each of them.

Maybe you can use a piece of an old bird cage and mount in on a wall in the aviary, then you could hang the tubes there.

However, I guess you still will need a shallow bird bath for the finches that they can take baths in. I use clay trays which are usually used to put under plant pots. I decorated a few with mini tiles, but I also have a couple that I use for food that are not decorated. I just made them waterproof by painting them with grout sealer.

I use water tubes similar to what you are looking at. The little trough makes it impossible for them to bath in it. Although some will splash a LOT trying to.

As for their bath water, they WILL drink out of their bath water.

I forgot to mention that I change the water daily. It does get dirty even if you try to place it out in the open where there are no branches or perches overhead.
