I need to find good 30 x 18 x 18 cages (white) to keep on hand...you know how that is!!!

So far I have found

Bird & Cage Co
case of 4 #2474 $129 free shipping

Country Roost 30x18x16 set of 4 for $131.00 free shipping

Country Feathers #2474 $126.00

I am waiting on a price and shipping from a company Chris recommended.

Can anyone point me in a good direction. I found anything coming from California to florida is like the cost of the product in shipping.

I can get a case of 4 #2474 from somone I know in Ft. Myers but a 6 hour round car trip for cages, hmmmmm.

Country Feathers states free shipping on their website?
Did you contact them and it's not actually free?

I know there is one other, but I can't remember the URL at the moment :\

When I planned to order more, I was going to get them from Country Feathers, it appears to be the least expensive option.

Case of 4x 30x18x18 non divided black or white flights
http://www.yangtzeusa.com/
104 shipped to my door from California. Got this site from Sally, for me, it was the cheapest from every site that was listed thus far.

As far as whats listed, country feathers and one other site I dont care to mention were both rude and expensive. Tiffany is also right, shipping should be free... but the 30 dollar over charge for the same price item easily makes up the shipping cost.

To keep in mind, at the Atlanta bird mart, I was able to get 30x18x18 cages for 18 dollars each. You can call ahead of time and request them to NOT assemble your cage and sell you a whole case directly. 72 dollars.

Tiffany, I called Country Feathers. The price does include shipping. They are out of TN so it will get to me in 3 days compared to waiting a week.

I don't see 30x18x18 listed there though?
I only see the smaller 24x16x16 cages :\

I won't be at the Atlanta show. Takes to long to drive out the state of Florida. Maybe next year. Do you have the name of the company that you are talking about for 72, I can call for shipping but it will probably come out to about 100.

The cost of these cages have gone up I used to get them year ago for 13 a piece.

Chris, I emailed the company you recommended, that was yesterday and he has not gotten back to me. The picture is a little fuzzy, but let me ask you is this the #2474 cage with one big door and a smaller door within it, 2 feeding stations?

I have 4 of the #2474 and love them, you don't have to open the big door all the time. I have 4 of the other kind with a big door higher up on tha cage, instead of sliding a low dish in the cage like with the #2474, I have to reach in and put it down.

Yeah I finally found it after I posted that ;)

They don't have prices listed? Was the $104 including shipping to you? I guess I could just email them to get a quote to see what it would be to me :)

Dont email...
Just call, its a little old chinese man. He or his wife will answer the phone. Ask to get some pricing. He even has the line going to his cell phone so I have never called and not gotten an answer. In fact he told me one time he would call me back because he was driving with his wife out to lunch.

Cindy,
I always order cages from Country Feathers..... they offer wholesale pricing. The way to qualify for the wholesale pricing is to buy 3 cases. They say on their site to call for shipping quaotes. I know I am a lot closer to them than you...even though we are in the same state....my Florida is a long state... So I don't know how much more the shipping would be for you...it would be worth a call though. But with the wholesale pricing and the shipping I can get them for around $16.00 a piece. They will also let you mix the cases so you could get the 24" breeders, 30" breeder or the 36" high cages, with or without dividers... That ism a lot of cages but it is the way I save money. I buy in bulk. Though it is just my husband and I we go to the Sam's clubs and buy in bulk.... I have to laugh at our toilet paper stash

Chris, can you describe the front set up, how many feeding stations, small door inside big door?

Tiffany,
Country Feathers is a nice family run company. They will be at the Atlanta Trade show in December so you guys check them out. They are a super value when bought at a bird fair. And once you meet them you will like there friendly, genuine service.

I wanted to tell you that ABBA up there in New Jersey...your neck of the woods , carry the Yangtze Line of cages from China...or least they did when I ordered them. You have to have a sales tax number to purchase at the wholesale price but you may want to call them. May be to big of a minimum order to work out though. But definately closer to pick up or cheaper shipping.

I have the 30x18x18 non dividable from him. They have one large centered door that is as high as the cage is tall and just as wide. It slides straight up. On the door, it also has a mini sliding door that you can use to put a food cup if you wish. On the front panel on the left and right side of the big door, there are 2 smaller doors again, for feed cups. You can potentially get 3 feeder cups in the cage. It comes with 2 plastic feeder cups. There are 2 breeder doors that slide on the side walls of the cage. It also comes with 2 or 4 wooded dowel rods per cage which I ended up using as a fake swords to attack Irene... I got kicked.

The divideable cages, as stated by him since I did not buy them. Has 2 medium sized entrances on the front left and right. It has a divider that goes in the center. Across the front there are 4 feeder cup spots with sliding gate. So that each compartment, when divided, has 2 cups. It again has a breeder entrance on each slide with sliding gate. This comes with 4 plastics cups and i have no clue how many daggers or swords come with this item.

Chris, it sounds as if this is they type of cage I prefer. I'll call him later and see what he is asking for them, then I'll post it. Thanks a bunch.

Out of curiosity - are the breeder doors located at the top, or bottom of the cage?
I have seen some on the bottom, which does me no good - I like to place my boxed at the top :\

Unfortunately Atlanta is a bit of a trek for me where I'm at now - not really feasible to attend, I'd spend more in gas than I would saving on the cages LOL

You know it's strange, I've actually never been to Abba.. They are only open by appointment or on Saturdays very early in the morning for 2-3 hours, so I've just never pushed myself to go.

I should, though.. I love their show cages :(
