Thanks for posting the pics :D I love the natural look...the cedar shingles and is that cedar Siding? What a nice woodland setting.
Someday we will demolish the house next door and build garage/guest quarters ... I would also like to build something like this with maybe outside avary flights off the back. I will be watching the develoments for ideas. Are you and your husband building that yourselves? Super professional looking :D

Misty, that's amazing!!! If I had land like that, I'd be making my hubby get to work, lol! Can't wait to see the inside and of course once the birds are moved in

Yah, for our hard working hubbies :)

Misty, the building is so attractive in that setting! What size is it? Will you add outdoor flights to the building? Keep the photos coming, please. I think everyone on here really enjoys seeing other people's setups.

Here is flight one - the only flight without a window directly in the flight, but it does have one of the sky light windows

Image

Each flight is at least 5' wide, 4' deep, 8' tall

Awesome. Those are the perfect sized flights. And what a view they will have. Will you have wire as a seperator or solid panels? Looks like the material on the back walls will be easy to clean..... Looks great and so professional...Is Hubby a builder?
Also...whats going in each flight?

Thank you everyone :D

Yes, my husband is a builder. The walls are drywall, there is actually a screen door that will act as a separator for each flight. There will be wire panels in some areas but not all. The bulk of my flock is Gouldians so they will get most of the space. However, I will try to use two flights for breeding of the harder species that require a lot of space.
