Has anybody got any tips on insulating the indoor flight of an aviary ? I'm thinking about tin foil in the middle of the wood (shed) and plasterboard .. plasterboard as it helps sound proof and has insulating properties ....
Any advice would be much appreciated,
thansk

How about a thick sheet of styrofoam or foam in between thin plywood sheets? There are different thickness styrofoam that youcan get in large sheets. They do make sound proofing foam, which you maybe able to find at a hardward store or supplier for sound studios. Regular foam sheets you maybe able to get in sheets at an uphostery shop or sewing/material store.

I'm gonna use roof insulation...loads of cheap deals on at the mo (at B&Q ansd Wickes in the UK) polystyrene sheets in the roof 'cos it's easier to handle in the roof.
Then plasterboard...taped joins and painted.
Don't forget with plasterboard to leave a slight gap at floor level or you will get condensation problems.(Or fix small ventilation grilles in each panel.)

Vent through to the insulation...not all the way through the shed wall.It is a rockwool type...I'll just go for the cheapest.
