For now im housing 4 (2 males and 2 females Societies but i will probably buy a bigger cage.
So with the bigger cage, i might trade 2 of my Societies and also acquire other kind of finches.
My biggest concern it's the compatility with differents bird.
So if someone can suggest me which kind of finches are nice with other finches.
I plan keeping my males societies because one the male is really friendly and like to peek in my hand

....so i would like to know if only keeping males but from different species can be a problem??
thx you

Have a check in the Finch Info Centre under Helpful Link to the left, then under species.
As for Males, it all depends on species again ..
Hope this helps

You can use the Species information as a guide, but remember that there can always be that individual bird that won't follow the rules! An all-male aviary is nice because the males are usually more colorful, and with most of the species that sing, only the males do so.
I have an all-male flight with Strawberries, Goldbreasts, a Blue-capped Cordon Bleu, and a Gray Singer, and they all coexisted peacefully. I recently swapped out one of the Strawberry males, put a different one in the flight in its place, and it is now pandemonium! It is like they all have raging hormones. No serious fighting, but lots of squabbles, and I finally put the divider in for some peace. Now they spend all their time calling each other, or sitting at the divider playing kissy-face! Go figure!!
