Home Made Cage? Will my Idea work?

So My cage is wayyyy too small. We have Two Female finches a nest, perch, toys ect. in this very small cage.
Buyt will this homeade cage work?

Tankeing one of those small 3 drawer plastic thing and put screen on it and remove the drawers? Do ya think it will work? It can't be very big so... yeah.

Does anybody have any Ideas? :?:

Don't think so...

...try garage sales...or look in the Buy/Sell (or whatever it's called in your neck of the woods)...

...or you can make something out of 2X2s and welded wire (hardware cloth)...

...an old aluminum baking tray (or 2) or something similar makes for an easy-clean bottom, esp. if you keep it lined with newspaper...

Yeah the baking trays would work great.

I was looking at a spare lid for a plastic tote the other day and trying to decide if I should throw it away and then realized it would work as a poop tray should I ever build another flight cage.
