I am soooo excited. I just bought a flight cage for my birds. Mine will be pure white. Both hubby and I prefer light colors and white. Now I only have to convince him that this cage was a necessity and that it will go nicely with our family room decor.

I can't wait to see how our finches and a diamond dove will react when I place them in their new big home. They will probably cuddle up on one perch for a while.

I also found a very similar cage, if not the same, but it had only 1 door. I hope I made a wise decision by choosing mine with 2 doors. What do you think?

That is very smiliar to the cage I have, (in white

. Mine has two doors also, and it worked out very well when I kept finches in it. I now have my budgie pair living in this cage.

wow Tammie you have lucky budgies!! That's a gorgeous cage, I saw something similar at the pet store the other day that was "on sale" for $399.99 and thought, gee if I win the lottery this week... lol

It's a great cage. I have the double version of that cage, and I love it. 2 doors was a good choice - you can open the bottom door and do what you need to do (change food, clean cage, move perches, whatever) and the birds will all stay up top. Mine only has a single door on each side - luckily, mine has a divider, too, so I can trap all the birds on one side while I clean the other side. Otherwise, I'd have birds out all the time, I'm sure. Great choice. White will be lovely, too.

Wow, that was expensive. I paid for mine $150 including shipping.

yeah stuff in Canada tends to be much more expensive than in the States, even though our dollar is almost even now

For instance the cage I got for my budgies retails for like $30 in the states, I paid $60 and it was on sale for 30% off!

Thalia, Canada may be expensive but it is a beautiful country. So many trees, so much more space as compare to the US. Every time we come back from Canada, we see how uglier US is.
I would love to live there.

oh lol you couldn't pay me to move to the States (no offence any US dwellers) I love Canada, however I also love going shopping in the States

I just wish that things weren't so much more expensive

It's frustrating having people say oh I bought this fabulous thing for our birds/hermit crabs at Petsmart and it only cost me X dollars! So I skip down to the Petsmart near by and the price is double or more

Very frustrating!! I wish I lived closer to the border so I could cross over and shop more easily.
