Your damp basement might not have had anything to do with an E. coli outbreak. Raw veggies sometimes have that on it straight from the store, and so many veggies are just impossible to really wash well. That's a danger for us too, as we all know from past news reports.
I haven't really seen much evidence that my particular fids even eat very many veggies, but I'd like to think that I could continue to offer them even when they're on the Fidler diet. I just like for them to have a lot of variety.
I'm starting with the Fidler sprouted seed while I use up some of these other dry seed mixes I have. I'm anxious to see how their sprouted seeds compare to Abba's. Some of this stuff is going to the birds outside. When this is all done, I think I'll be able to say that I tried everything!
