I just brought home 2 spice finches, I've had them for 1 night and they don't seem to know that the tube thing i got them is water. should i worry?

I always tell people who purchase birds from me that they must put a dish of water on the bottom of the cage - where it is easy for the birds to find. You can remove the dish of water once you have seen the birds drinking from the waterer you want them to use (in your case - the water tube).
I would immediately put a dish of water in the bottom of the cage if you have not seen the birds drinking from the water tube.

When I recently purchased my Spices and Cordon Bleu, I placed the water cup directly under the water bottle spout. That way when they came to drink from the cup they were exposed to the drinker too. I believe they learn to associate the spout with water and soon give it a peck to check it out.
When I moved all three to the aviary, they learned real quick what to do by watching the other birds also.
