I use the Zupreem diet in many different ways with my birds. I cannot get them on the full diet so I sprinkle it heavily on top of their seeds when I feed them. I'll also throw some grit or oyster shell on the top of the whole thing, the birds seem to like the variety. I also give my birds hard boiled eggs with crushed Zupreem every day. I mash my eggs with, egg shell that has dried out for a few days in a paper towel, so that they crush to a powder when I roll them over with a rolling pin. The shells are in a plastic bag when I crush them down. Or you can hit them with a hammer until they're in powder form. {great for taking out your frustrations too!!}
Than I add Zupreem fruit flavor diet {also crushed} to the mix so I know they're getting the extra minerals and vitamins that the just seed diet doesn't contain. I'll also add crushed sunflower seeds or wheatgerm if I'm in the mood. These I crush with a piston and mortar I bought at the flee market for a whole $2.00. The birds seem to really love the added fruit flavoring the Zupreem adds.
