Salba Seeds?

I found a bag of "salba seeds" in the healthy food section of a local grocery store. It is supposed to be some "super food" as far as health benefits. Has anyone tried feeding this to their finches? I researched and see that it is actually the seeds of "salvia hispanica" and is alternately marketed under the names of anutra, sachia, tresabio, and chia sage. Is the the "chia" seed that someone on here said was so good for finches? Thanks for any help!

I have the seeds too but never actually gave any to the birds. I seem to remember some time ago of someone feeding them to their birds with great results but I can't remember the details.
