It was a little dense. I tried grating it as suggested, but that wasn't working. So after I put it into the food processor it was perfect!
This is what I am going to feed my birds this summer and lay off the fresh eggfood. It probably doesn't have quite as much protein as the eggfood, but I did use the handfeeding formula in it also.

Yay! I'm glad they liked it. Were the spices just for taste, or are they good for the birds, too?
