I got the ABBA Germix I ordered very quickly - only 2 days. Made some right away for all my fids and they liked it!

The owls went for it faster than the gouldians (of course), but even my finicky boys picked at it, eventually. For my guys, that's a positive response! It's really neat - germinated seed ready in 10 minutes! I mixed it with the egg food thay they are used to. It will be a 2x/week healthy treat. That's the most they recommend for resting birds. Must have a lot of protein. Also got some Veg-to-bowl. Jury's not back on that one, yet.

Did you get it online or at a local store?

Since Glamorous Gouldians was out of it, I got it directly through ABBA. I ordered it by phone, but got their # from the website. As for how it germinates in 10 minutes, I have no idea! It took some European scientist years of research. Here's the info. on it:

I adore the ABBA products and will be carrying most all of the products in my store. They have been the leaders of bird nutrition here in the US for over 20 years (that I know of and have been using them). They offer so many products/feeds that have been used around the world by "serious bird breeding enthusiast" . I am so glad that we have a company here in the US that offers these products

Hi guys!
Just want to let you know I am not out of stock on the Germix however, it is expired and so is any that you can find out there for sale right now. It is probably fine and safe to feed being it's dehydrated and canned but...you should know it is expired! The stamp on the bottom of the can...11/10 is in that stamp:) I have plenty and would sell them for $5 a can if anyone would be interested, email me
terrig@glamgouldians.com. I did feed to my birds without an issue but don't want to sell expired products on my site!
Just an FYI for birdy buddies!

Don't use Abba feeds but was curious why all that you find right now would be out of stock. Are they discontinuing that product?
thanks

Gotcha, thanks. I'm surprised they are still importing from Italy and not making it here in NJ where they are.
