First Time Trying Birdie Bread! Success!

Post by DanteD716 » Wed Oct 19, 2011 1:59 pm

They loved it, I used the Jiffy mix, two eggs, water, I put in some apple slices, some seed and pellets, and some chopped up strawberry and dry peach. They are going crazy, at the moment they are in the bowl eating! :D I also put some egg shells and honey in. Just wanted to share!

Hooray! =D> My birds love that stuff too! now that they've seen it in the bread, you can try offering those treats in a cup on their own and see if the birds are interested.

Also, in case you don't already know, you can break up the bread into single servings, wrap in plastic wrap, and freeze for later use. Just thaw 10 seconds in the microwave, allow to cool, and serve. 8)
4 zebras Crystal, Beau, Bella and Dmitri (the little squeaker), 2 societies Diva and DJ (and their 6 adult kids), and 2 green singers Thor and Regina

Thanks! :D I'll try feeding the treats seperatly and seeing if they eat it. And I froze some! :D I'm excited they ate something different.
