Some are light sensitve/length of day and it will depend on the seeds/plants.

ok, thanks...

I didn't know millets can mature continuously throughout the year in warm climate. I guess that makes sense. How else would tropical birds stay alive through the winter. I always pictured harvesting millet only in the fall, with a scythe!

I'll be growing japanese, foxtail, and red. They are already growing accidentally from stray seeds.
