What kinds of oil should I put in my egg food ?

the whole thing is making me nervous. Now I wonder if I even need to add the Ultimate Avian Formula once a day... geeze how confusing

I use TWO oils in my eggfood. Following the Green Day Diet by Doug Taylor, on the NFSS.org website, I add WHEATGERM OIL and COD LIVER OIL. I aLso add Horsetail Shavegrass, along with (occasionally) a tiny bit of organic honey and some ground flaxseed. Cornmeal is used to tighten up the mixture. I sometimes add a bit of the pulverized shells, too. When large batches are made, I freeze small servings in individual baggies, then thaw in the fridge the night before serving. I've had alot of success with this and all my birds love it.

Debbie you are amazing! I don't know where I or my finches would be without you...

It was actually shockingly easy to switch them over from a seed diet to Harrison's, when I first got them I knew I wanted to feed them Harrison's so I offered it to them on day one with a little millet sprinkled on top and they were eatinging it within an hour

And I give them fresh pellets daily, I have kinda learned how much they eat so there really isn't much to throw out in the morning
