some birds had a really bad moult and missing quite a few feathers..I've read that protein is good for growing feathers :D well i gave my birds some egg but they didn't really like it so any ideas of wat i could give them!? :D

Are you talking about your Gouldians not liking egg? If so, that doesn't surprise me. Are your finches all together? Societies are generally more open to trying new things and if the Gouldians watch the societies eat the egg, then they'll be curious and try it too.

give them some time to get used to it. they may take a few days before actually eating it.
Addicted to Finches, yes I do admit it.
I pray they never find a cure.

My gouldians love eggfood. But it took them a little while. My red headed parrot finches will eat anything and the other birds have learned from them. Also, you could try Feather fast. I give this to my birds on soaked bread and the gouldians really love that.

Try our eggfood recipe. Several forum members have tried it with good results. One of the key ingrediants is garlic powder. The scent of the garlic often helps. Here is the link:
