Seed for finches

Post by Betty Blair » Thu Oct 10, 2013 11:04 am

Have been feeding Herman Bros EM finch and bought KG finch. My finches seem to like the KG with it's small seeds best. Their Seedies mix is what my canaries like. Only thing is the shipping costs seem high. Is there anyone in Mid Atlantic region selling something similar in bulk? Thanks.

Those shipping costs are a bugger aren't they?
I've been wanting to try the KG Finch but I also don't want to pay for the shipping.
If you have a local farm/feed/seed store, ask them where they buy their seed - maybe they can get some in for you with their own order.

Have you tried Abba seed? They are in NJ or Delaware, I forget which.

Abba's in NJ :)
Their seed has always been on the high end cost wise, haven't priced it out in a while though. :)
