We recently purchased two zebra and two society finches.
I have:
seed with egg (comes premixed)
millet sprays
mineral block
cuttle bone
grit (which I have actually seen them eat!)
I have also been putting in a piece of apple and a piece of orange and have also tried broccoli.
As far as I can tell they show no interest in the fruit or vegs.
Is this ok?
Should I keep putting the fruit/veg in there and hope they nibble at it?
Should I be putting vitamins in their water to make up for their lack of interest in the fresh fruit?
I have to say I LOVE these little guys!

Sometimes it takes a while for them to start eating any new food ,Mine really like romaine lettuce,I also give mine cooked rice about twice a week. Hard boiled eggs are really good watch them only leave this in the cage for a few hours as it can spoil, take the shells from the eggs I microwave mine for a few minutes then crush them up into small pieces this give them the much needed calcium you can mix the egg shells in with the grit
