Pepper stalks?

Hi

It seems peppers are on safe food for birds in moderation. What about the stalks though?

Anyone know?

That's a great question. I'm honestly not sure.

I know rhubarb and tomato stalks and leaves are a no-go, but I'm not sure on the peppers.

I'd take a cautious approach and avoid them unless you can confirm they're safe. :-)

The sap can cause skin reactions (similar to poison ivy burns in people).
The ingested fruits have a paralyzing, narcotic and toxic effects on birds.
