Handfeeding Gouldian babies

Post by Sandra » Tue Sep 23, 2014 8:14 am

Just in case I ever need this info ..... I'd rather be instructed than not knowing.

If my parents gouldians throws babies out of their nest ....

What and How do I handfeed babies? Is there something out there giving great information to what food to give, how to handfeed and how to keep babies warms?

That would be great to know!

Look here for stickies on handfeeding and how to make an inexpensive broodeer: http://www.finchforum.com/viewforum.php?f=5 Also, there are articles on handfeeding and brooders at www.finchinfo.com. Gouldians are one of the easier species to handfeed. I keep handfeeding formula in the freezer so it is available just in case. I like Lafeber's, but there are other brands out there as well.
