kyubi -- All of mine are dried.

I have a hard time with live food and my guys aren't used to them anyways. So they just sort of peer at live food with a perplexed look. They have no idea what to do with them! LOL

For my guys, the trick to get them to eat dried mealworms is to crush them up. They leave behind any fragments that are intact.

With the dried bloodworms, I have a few who eat them whole, but most prefer them powdered. They crumble really easily so I just run them back and forth between my fingers and they turn into a dust. I sprinkle over egg food and other fresh food items

wilkifam --- That's the one I got too!

The Tasty Worms! (I wouldn't know if that name is accurate. LOL The smell makes me queasy! But the birdies seem to like it!)

They really seem to like them!

I checked when I was in Tractor Supply recently, and the ones they have are made in Texas! :)

Turns out the ones I had from Kaytee were "imported", so I'm putting those outside for the wild birds.

I had not thought to crush up the dried mealworms. I'm going to try that, because I have some pairs that seem to just toss them around but not eat them.

Get frozen mealworms as they are the healthiest for them.
