I give the cucumber to my finches as a shashliks. I left the wire from calendar, stick the cucumber into it and hang on tha cage bars in one of the corners. Sometimes they stick out for cucumber and pull for the wire to make some noise  I slice it or make a small cubes.

Hello to all,

My zebras also do not seem to like fruit, I tried apples, strawberries, banana and mango but they just leave it to rotten.

They do like some vegetables but not many. Their favourite is cucumber, romain salad, watercress and broccoli.

They do not like carrots, celery, courgette.

I chop everything very finely and put them on a little saucer or in a tiny dish at the bottom of the cage.

Not all birds like the same vegetables though. I guess they are like us, we do not like all foods either so it is a case of testing what they do like and what they do not....well, this is what I am doing.

Good luck.

Monica
