Best Food Processor?

I'm searching for a food processor that will cut leafy greens in to small pieces with leaving large pieces stuck at the top. Does anyone have suggestions for a good one? And could it handle mixing boiled eggs without turning them into mush? I've been through two manual food choppers that couldn't handle the workload and broke, and the only other one I have does a terrible job chopping.

I love the little Ninja Food Chopper.... it chops the foods like kale, carrots up into small enough pieces that finches can handle it, no waste.

Yep, cindy put me onto the Ninja food chopper, just about $20 a Walmart. It does a great job with leafy veggies, chopping them into small pieces without turning them into mush. The only down side is that it is small, so you have to do multiple loads if you have a lot of birds.

My regular size food processor does a good job of making egg food, chopping the eggs up. I do admit that I put eggs, vitamins, and dry commercial egg food all in the food processor at once, so the eggs don't have a chance to get mushy.

slwatson The Ninja brand is great. We have one, and we use it mostly for our family use, and also for processing.. Since we only have 2, it's not too often though.

I just started putting several peeled hard boiled eggs into the Ninja... does not mush them or make them soggy!!!! I was finely grating them by hand but with over 100plus birds... it took to long to do 18 to 20 eggs.

The processor I have had was a Black and Decker. What made it so good is that the blades were serrated like a hack saw. It cut veggies into small tiny pieces without creating mush. It finally wore out and I have been on the look out for another with the same blade assembly. In the mean time, I use my Ninja.
