We missed you too Sweetie.
There are always new members coming along, but I often miss our old time friends (who have dropped by the way side). How is Aunt Ginene, doing? Is she still keeping her birds?

lovezebs I know I miss speaking with everyone especially you. My aunt Ginene is doing great. She actually does not have birds anymore, because they got an amazing wheaten terrier puppy over the summer and they decided that it would be best to rehome the finches. They are now doing great with Ruth, a former member here. (Nerien). She loved having birds though. :D :D I'm really hoping to get a puppy, but it doesn't seem like my parents want one because we are all so busy. It is true, but I will keep on trying lol. I am going to try and be more active here and help people with any tech or society questions, so looking forward to speaking more. I am enjoying school and the marching Band a lot. I've made so many friends in the past few months that I hang out with a lot so it's great.

My guys are eating chopped greens like this now. For a long time they would only eat it if I put it on a cage clip hanging off the side of the cage, and they would only eat ONE THING at a time - for a long time the ONE THING was spinach, and then suddenly it was broccoli.

Now they are eating whatever I toss down on a plate in the bottom of their cage - except, no fruits still. Maybe fruit is the green vegetables of the avian world, LOL! (I know so many people who are grown adults who actually boast about never eating vegetables. Fine, more for the rest of us who are going to outlive y'all - and our little birds, too!)

Turn towards home, and go there. Many overs, over woods and fields, streams and hills, many overs. Just turn towards home. How else would one go there? Perhaps it was a dream, and you have awakened from it. May the earth rise up beneath you, with home in your heart, and your person waiting.

GouldieFledge

The trays or plates, are pretty much empty by next morning, with the orange peel left behind, along with a few small wilted bits and pieces here and there.

They absolutely love their salads :D .
