Insect Treat Sample from Ladygouldian

Post by cntrymeadow » Wed Feb 25, 2009 12:23 pm

I received my order from ladygouldian and in there was a free sample of their insect treat:
http://www.ladygouldian.com/product_insecttreat.mgi

We have zebras, societies and gouldians all of which (from what I have read) do not eat insects.

If anyone wants this free sample message me your address and I will mail it to you.
No sense me keeping it/throwing it away if someone else wants to give it a try.

I purchased some of that and my society finches love it. You should give it a try with them. They usually will eat anything!

I'm just north of you in Vancouver, Canada. If you decide you don't want it, my Goldbreasts would love it. I'll PM my address.

I felt the same way about the canned mealworms, but if your birds like it, you'll be surprised how quick it is before you hardly notice it anymore. It's just so nice to see them enjoy their food. Good for you, variety is the spice of life, for them as well as us. :D

We just got ours a little while back and started feeding them this week with it, our Fire's appear to love it as well!

Just to make sure - is it the "Insect Treat" from Lady Gouldian that your Fires love?

Hi Liz,

Yeah, it's the fly larvae and pupae. It's called "Insect Treat". I was a bit skeptical about it but thought I give it a try since i got a few other things from the site. Seems like they have taken quiet a liking to it.

Thanks - good to know Fire's like that type of thing.
