Roudybush Maintenance California Blend

I have been ordering Roudybush Maintenance, grinding it and adding it to dried eggfood for my finches. Roudybush came out with a Maintenance California Blend that contains carrots, dried bell peppers, dried cabbage, dried apricots, dried plums, dried tomatoes mixed in with the small rods

I am going to give this to my lovebird with the hopes of weaning him of the sweet Zupreme fruit blend.

I may try grinding some of this and giving it to the finches a couple of times a week as a small treat.

It smells good when you open the bag!

Do your birds like Roudybush Maintenance, Cindy? Not one of my big birds (Quakers, Conures, an Indian Ringneck and Cockatiels) will touch it! They DO love the Roudybush Rice, however, as well as Pretty Bird Natural Gold. I am currently feeding the finches and canaries and doves Zupreem Natural, but thinking of grinding some Roudybush Rice in a coffee grinder to see if they like that...

I grind the plain maintenace up in the food processor and add it to ABBA 92 green dried egg food. I leave it in an egg cup for them to eat when they like. I also include a little in a pile on top of their seed nightly. They love it I think because it is mixed with the eggfood. I tried it ground and plain in a dish and they won't touch it.

My parrotlets all loved the Roudybush Maintenance Formula, Nibble size. They would not eat anything else. I tried the Natural Gold on my Gray but he refused it. He liked the Zupreme Friut Flavor pellets better. He tossed the Roudybush out of the bowl, fed the dog!

I am now trying the Roudybush California Blend on Louey, my lovebird. He loves Zupreme Fruit Flavor pellets.
