I prepared it with hulled millet and offered it this morning to my birds but to my amazement they did not like it. I am really wondering why since everybody else birds loved it. Some tasted it but that's about it. I have left it until this afternoon and threw it out. And we are talking for a test of over 10 cages of gouldians and my birds do eat eggfood if that makes a difference. I just can't explain it.

but my zebra like it
,they eat more than half of the amount at first time . .. .
any way ... now i put some over the egg food ... eventually they will used to eat it ... i am sure ...

my thread is about making the hulled milled with egg, not making softfood with hulled millet. I was just suggesting that if the birds love the millet, we could put it in the softfood to encourage them to eat. Hulled millet mixed with egg like I do can be left in the cage as long as 5 days, so you may want to serve it to them alone. but anyway, who knows, gouldian are always picky
