Outside seed

Post by EmilyHurd » Tue Jul 24, 2007 1:42 pm

Hey everyone, quick question...

We feed the wildbirds outside and the feeder is placed on a post about 4 feet from the ground. Anyway, the seed that they eat falls to the dirt, and then this yellow seed long grass grows b/c of the seed that falls from the feeder. Is that ok or even beneficial to feed to my finches?? The grass/seeds that grow?
