Do you have any distributors in the Montreal, Quebec....Canada area? If not, do you want the name of the supplier where I do my business  :?:
Hi Janine!

Actually, it is a pain in the backside to ship seed to Canada. It would require a USDA PHYTO Sanitary Certificate at the least. And I'm not sure if Canada would require the niger to be sterilized or not.

But I would be glad to work with you and your supplier. Go ahead and send me an email with a copy to your supplier expressing your interest. I think ABBA products are sold in Canada, so it would just be an economy of scale thing regarding the PHYTO Cert. But still not sure if Canada will let live niger in or not.

If your supplier is interested, then let's give it a try :D

Hi Janine!

Something happened to my reply...it shows I posted last night on the Board Index, but my note never showed up in this thread!

Shipping seed to Canada would require a USDA PHYTO Sanitary Certificate and would not be cost effective for an individual order. Plus I'm not sure if Canada would require the niger to be sterilized which would ruin the whole point of the exercise.

But if you are interested, please send a note to your supplier letting them know and copy me on the note. I would be willing to work with them to see if we can export EarlyBird Niger to Canada.

Thanks for your interest :D

Bill

Thanks Bill :D I will be going to pick up my seed on Friday, so I will ask him at the same time. From what I have seen they take excellent care of the birds in their store, and their selection of seed is excellent. Now maybe I can get him to order some of the other mixes as well. I was even thinking of the Mike Fidlers White and Black soak sprouting seeds. Now wouldn't my little ones be happy =D>
