I boil a dozen eggs at a time that last 2 to 3 days usually. I keep the boiled egg in the fridge but have never had sucess with mixing the additive ingredients in bulk and storing... My birds are spoiled and turn their noses up to leftovers... It's as if the dry ingredients get too moist for them.... So I grab a few eggs a day and whip up the morning ration...then Or many times I will put just straight grated boiled egg on top of a dry commercial nestling/eggfood when am in a hurry.
usually again before lights out to the birds with chicks in the nest.

Cindy, I posted my recipe in the Recipes for Birdfood subforum. I use Doug Taylor's Green Day diet, but I make mine much drier, which my birds seem to like. I am actually adding 2 1/3 cups of dry ingredients to 12 eggs.
3 Purple Grenadiers, 1 Goldbreast + 1 cat.
