Someone mentioned that they put the herb salad in a cup, so I wanted to point out that it is intended to be served spread out in a large flat dish - the birds need to be able to root around in it to find the specific items they want/need. I had it in a normal feeding dish and they never touched it. I bought a 8" glazed dish (the kind that goes with a terra cotta pot) and they will sit in it for an hour picking through it. The dish was $4 at Home Depot, so definitely worth it. It's glazed, so it doesn't absorb water and is easily washed out in the sink, and can even go in the dishwasher (top rack).
Presentation makes a HUGE difference with the herb salad. If your birds aren't taking to it, try a large, flat dish.

Herb Salad is the best!!! I give it just as it is mostly but when my bird was very sick I did give it to her as a tea and she loved it and got well quickly. My birds also love the parsley flakes.
