I double checked the bag and it specifically states:
PEA SPROUTS/SHOOTS.
I'll have to check out my TJ's for it. The birds love it.

Canary: Blue, Red & Yellow, BC Cordon Bleu, Strawberry, Star, European Goldfinch, Owl, Shaftail, Splendid, Rosey Bourkes, Cocker Spaniel gal, Portuguese Water guy, and a freshwater tank. (no partridge, but I do have a pear tree).

-newbie alert-

I went to petco to get some pet grass and noticed that they seemed to have a fruit fly problem...Do you think it would be safe for the finches? I'm not sure if they've tried to get rid of the fruit flies with some sort of insecticide or anything. I can't imagine they would...?

I'm scared. X_X
