I know it may not be best but for convenience I use frozen mixed veggies and blend it up with some fresh salad mix. The birds have never rejected it. I also some time mix in thrive and sprouted seed.

Re: what do you feed daily?
I use frozen corn. I buy lots duing the summer cut them and half them down the middle so they don't roll aroun and accidentally run over my finches lol.
But I ran out today and I had some in handy in my freezer.

Re: what do you feed daily?
i give my societies and owls fresh seeding grasses from the garden every day, they love them. and they all seem fit well and happy.they have spray millet and finch food as well, also grit and dandelion leaves. nothing expensive or difficult, and ten eggs between four societies cant be bad! (although they did chuck them all out of the box after a week of sitting)

Re: what do you feed daily?
My guys have unlimited daily access to:
- Higgins Finch Vita Seed
- Quiko Finch Egg Food
- Herb salad mixed with AviPollen & AviKelp Granules
- ABBA Mineral Grit mixed with Hatched Egg Shells
- Higgins Song Food Seed Mix
- Higgins Fruit & Veggie Seed Mix
- Cuttle bone
They also get fresh chopped veggies (orange & green), quinoa, egg food, millet spray and leafy greens. But these are varied depending on the day and if there are hatchlings or not. I sprinkle AviVita Gold on soft food 3x a week. I think that's it...

Re: what do you feed daily?
I feed my finches a mix of FF seed and Canary seed and Niger all pre mixed. Then they have eggfood mixed with boiled eggs and cous cous.
In terms of Greens they Get Peas and Broccoli. Based on time of year will depend how often they get eggfood and greens. Out of breeding season every 2-3 days.
During breeding season/Moulting I provide it everyday.

Re: what do you feed daily?
these are some fabulous ideas,,,,,,,,I'm brand new, and I finally got mine to eat ground up carrot LOL,,,,,,,
they also get finch food, but I'm thinking I need to get some quality finch food,,,,,,
and millet seed sprays, and oyster shell and mineral mix,,,,,,
I'm going to try another egg this week,,,,,,,,,they wouldn't touch it before, but I'm going to try again

Re: what do you feed daily?
CommaHolly try sprinkling their favorite seed all over the egg. Take away their seed a little while before you do it so they're hungry. Push some of the seed into it and then cover it with seed again. The top layer will have some egg touching it and they will accidentally get the taste in their mouth. They may go for the seeds deeper into the egg also and really go for it! I've done that with picky eaters and got them to eat the egg through trickery!
Great smorgasbord of food on these posts! What lucky birds!!!
