Actually I intended to collect newly dead fruitflies in a bottle and offer them to my finches in a cup. Even a few flies occasionally would suffice, to vary their diet of only seeds.

I Love Finches, Especially Strawberries.
I keep my Strawberry pair in a non-flight cage due to space constraints. If I have my way, I'll go for a flight cage or keep a hundred finches in a huge aviary.

I Love Finches, Especially Strawberries.
