Curious!

Never seen anything like that at MY Petsmart. I would think that Paprika would not be able to be tasted by birds since they don't have the right kind of taste buds for hot foods... which may be the point but why would they put it on there?

I was told by a canary breeder to put paprika (among other stuff) onto food for red factor canaries. The orange color of their feathers have to be created by feeding the canary orange or red food.

red peppers are very high in vitamin C, along with strawberry, much higher than oranges. Just like in people, I have read that vitamin C will help keep your birds from getting sick.
