Does anyone feed your finches this:

All you do with this one is add one cup water, microwave for two min. and let cool, then serve to them. You can refrigerate leftovers for up to a week. I'm lazy and don't like to buy all sorts of veges, etc, chop them up and do all the work, so this is a great way for them to eat all those veges!

I've recently started feeding it to my finches and they LOVE it.... I've never seen them love anything this much. Today was my first day feeding it to them, and they are all over it. I also feed them this:

which is the wheatgrass made by the same company and they love that also!

The website for this company is:

The website makes it look like it is just for parrots, but they have the smaller ones that are perfect for finches and smaller birds.

I've tried the grass before (bought at PetSmart already sprouted - "cat grass") and they demolished it. Haven't tried the dried veggies.

Well the veges are a hit, so you'll have to try them! I think they sell at petco, I buy them from a local source.....

Nancy sells them there...

I haven't fed these but they sound like they would be good to use as supplements and snacks for birds, especially when you aren't able to chop up some fresh veggies. I like that they seem convenient to use, and claim to be made with 'human grade' ingredients. I would still offer egg to my birds as well, since I didn't see very many listed ingredients in the products which seemed high in protein.

Thanks for the link.

Emily, what a coincidence!
I have just spotted those Veggie Delights in our Petsmart and was very close to buy it but had too many items for my fids already. It seems as a very convenient food for our fids.
I will definitely buy it the next time I am in petstore.

Thanks for letting us know your finches loved it.

Well all I can say is I've never seen my finches jump to any "new" food as fast, and they ate all of it. They never eat all the eggfood I make them.

So yes, as a once a week snack... it is great. Only a couple of the products are for small birds though.

That looks really cool, I'll have to go to my Petco and look for it. More variety, yeah!
