Is variety the spice of life?

I have to admit, I am an addicted to buying things for my finches. Most of the time, it ends up being some new soft food, egg food snack, "premium seed mix" - you get the picture. I then either add a tablespoon or so to their current food mix or put a separate treat dish in with the new item. My question is, is it ok to offer them lots of different things, or is it better just to stick with one basic recipe that you know they like? For example, my standard mix is Australian Grass Finch Seed Mix with Miracle Meal and then Hatched on top. Layered like sort of a finch parfait. Then I read that somebody liked Higgins Proteen Egg Food - so I added a snack sized cup of that mixed with some ABBA Finch treat mix. They like it! Then I got some Quiko exotic and mixed some of that into the miracle meal layer of their meal. Then I saw CeDe Egg Food Snack at a pet store and bought a box of that to try - maybe when I need to refill the Higgins cup I'll try the CeDe, instead. Then there's the 4 lb bag of Paradise Pet Products Premium Finch Blend that sounded so yummy when I read the description! I added a tablespoon of that to their seed mix just the other morning. (It's got dried papaya, pineapple, coconut, spinach flakes, red bell pepper dices, bee pollen and oyster shell - oh my!) Is it ok to keep doing this? I just want them to be healthy and happy!
P.S. Has anyone tried Veg to Bowl? The pieces look a little big, but I thought I could grind it in a food processor and sprinkle it on top of their food since my guys won't eat fresh veggies.
