good canary food

whats the best brand of food to give to my canaries at the moment i give them just Pets at home canary food but i have been on www.lolopets.pl and there food seems really good but to be honest i really dont know :D or have an idea what i should be feeding them :S could anyone advice me on the best food for them?

Canary Seed, Black Rapeseed, Linseed, Hempseed, Nyjer Seed, Yellow Biscuit, Oil.

Feeding Guide (approximate per day)

Provide a fresh bowl each day.

Please always ensure that fresh drinking water is available.

Oh goodness, I feed my canaries a wonderful canary mix by ABBA, which is a U.S. company. I think a good canary seed mix will consist of primarily canary seed, with some (not too much) fatty and oily seeds like hemp, rape, nyger (niger), sesame, flax, sunflower, etc. A excellent canary diet would be supplemented with fresh greens and the occasional fruit, like orange or applle to name a couple. :)

thanks it looks really good :) i did not know they could eat orange :P i do give them apple,grapes and other fruit also lambs lettuce,dandelions and chickweeds

Yes i agree. i am from the uk. i feed my finches with Bucktons seeds. But i supplement their diet as much as i can with other things like greens, soaked seed, millit sprays etc
