Can anyone tell me what the ingredients are in a "Foreign Finch Seed Mix"? I just got a pair of Goldbreast Waxbills and I keep seeing the above mentioned seed mix all over the place on UK sites? Do we call it something else in the US?
Thanks,
Sue

I also wondered about that. I figured foreign finch means non-British or non-European finch. This includes African finch, Australian finch, Tropical finch. I bought some a while ago. It just had Canary seed, millets (jap, proso, red, golden), linseed, rape, hemp, nyjer, anise and grass seeds. There are surely variations depending on which brand.

Thanks for the information. Both of the brands mentioned by Debbie276 appeared to be readily available on the UK sites. Do those of you with the tiny waxbills feed these mixes or any variation of them that can be found in the U.S?
Thanks,
Sue
