You can get Lafeber pellets here, last time I checked they had the best price, but I was ordering the 25# box:

I got Roudybush pellets here, but they are a larger pellet than the Lafeber, and I found my small waxbills didn't eat them. They are probably OK for larger finches.

Let me know what brand you have been using. We do not use pellets ourselves, and do not carry them on our website, but I would be willing to see if I can get you what you want for a better price. If I can't I'll see if we know someone that can. We have just become a dealer for Hagen products and the Tropimix line of pellets we have tried were very good smelling. My son's 5 pet Zebras loved it.

fairestfinches, I just started using pellets for alittle over a month now and the brand is Zupreem.

After doing some checking I can not get Zupreem through any of my distributors, and can't see becoming a direct dealer because of the cost to start their line with very few finch owners that we cater using it. We can provide Hagen pellets, and if you should decide to switch back to seed we blend our own private label seed.

Another possilbe way to get the pellets cheaper is to but it at a bird fair. Vendors often sell pellets for a much better price at the fairs.

Have you thought of price matching? Petsmart offers price matching, so if you bring a print out of the cheapest price you can find online, they will match it. I have taking advantage of it many times.

I have started using the Kaytee exact pellets just cause they come in larger size. I personally like the Zupreem more as the pellets are smaller and overall look is just better.

I would do price matching but the size they carry around here are pretty small. Think I'm going to stick with Kaytee for awhile till I find a brand/source I like online.
