Today's feast....
Today I mixed up chopped romaine, grated boiled egg, cooked orzo (not sure how this will go off, quinoa might be better next time), wheat germ (unsweeten) and ground buckwheat.
Rummy liked it...

Re: Today's feast....
I think if they saw a chicken they would notice that it has feathers and realize that it's a bird like them, but I doubt they would recognize bird meat from other meat. Well maybe a meat eating bird would. I mean I doubt I would recognize human or primate meat from other meats. By the way I just picked up some quinoa to try. How do I make it? Do I make it like rice or pasta?

My Senegal parrot has actually eaten chicken. He seems to like it! We tease him though- that he's eating his cousin

Re: Today's feast....
Well Quinoa was a hit or miss with my birds. Some liked it, some didn't. Personally I think it tastes better cold than hot, but I loved the smell while cooking
