Again, a good reminder of natural supplements for your birds. A clove of garlic smashed and put into a gallon of water is good in more ways that one. Garlic is a natural antibiotic and insects including external parasites donot like the smell of garlic. Like vinegar the garlic will also have a positive effect of feathers and the two go hand in hand so dont be afraid to mix them in your water occasionally. Paul

great tip paul, thanks do you find that the birds will readily drink the garlic water? is it best to introduce it gradually to them, with other non-garlic water also available to them?

and does the whole aviary smell like garlic?
