I've been feeding my birds the Proteen Egg food and they love it. None will eat hard boiled eggs so I have been using this dry food.

But was is the difference between the one I feed and the Proteen 25?

I have used both, the birds love the Higgins as much as the boiled eggfood. The Higgins has other added ingredients, I know a few breeders of hookbills that use it instead of boiled eggs.

After doing a web search I don't see any difference between proteen egg food and proteen 25.

Breeders feed the dried egg food so they don't have to worry about hard boiled eggs going bad. Either one I think is fine, I'd get the one readily available to you.
good luck

Thank you for your help. Computer problems, power outages occurring, birds dying (posted under health) have kept me from the boards til today. Sorry took so long to reply.
