hi, can some one let me know the name of seed which Mike Fidler showing the method for sprouting in video, I couldn't get the name of black color seed

This is what Mike uses though you can use any fresh seed with this method.

I know I stated this earlier but my birds love soaked plain parakeet seed without the vitamins. It all sprouts at the same time and is cheap and easy.

thanks for replies, found the seeds names on web page, I sprouted mung beans and my black cheeks shows interest in shoots only, then I took left overs and grind them with fresh green peas, and offered them and some of them start eating.

What is the best way to introduce new foods like sprouted seeds or egg food? should I remove seed pots before closing main lights?
