Broccoli! Like caviar or chocolate cake!

I clipped the tips off a sprig of broccoli for my shaft tails. They are feasting on it and chirping in celebration like I gave them caviar! Thanks for the tip, finch-forumers

My Gouldians also love the tips of broccoli.
As a bonus, I have masked lovebirds that tear into big tough broccoli stems. I get the middle.

I've tried broccoli and I can"t get my birds to touch it. It's been a while, maybe I should take another run at it...

i use tons of it during the canary breeding season as it stimulates parents to feed

I regularly put a good sized broccoli floret on a treat clip next to a perch and by the end of the day my owl finches have eaten every single bud off. They love it!
