Arugula & Lemon Grass ok ? to feed finches
Occasionally I drop in at our Senior Center & they have "left overs" from the store available. Today I picked up pkgs of Basil, Arugula & Lemon Grass. I checked all my lists of suitable finch food & only found Basil as ok. Anyone know if Arugula or Lemon Grass are ok to feed??

Arugula is fine. It's a leafy green. I feed it to my birds just fine. The lemon grass should be fine as well, but not a lot of Americans offer it because it is exotic and not readily available. Honestly, I don't know if the birds will actually eat the lemon grass -- maybe just nibble at it if it is leafy. But in terms of being toxic or poisonous, no on both accounts.
God is my redeemer and it is through Him I have found eternal happiness. I am grateful, I am blessed, and I am truly loved. I wish all this and more for all members of our finch forum family. May you all be blessed and highly favored.
