Fruit Fly update

I put a vial of the Fruit Flies in the freezer for about 10 mins.
They were kind of 'stunned', and then dumped 30 or so in a small dish.
Within 30 seconds, the RC Cordon Bleu hen was gobbling them down. Took a drink, ate some more.
Then went into the nest, and told her mate all about it! Changed places, and the male is finishing them off.

Very cool. A happy mistake, getting the FF instead of the meal worms! I don't know if I would have tried them otherwise. :-)

That's a great idea. Can you order a few thousand more? Cordons really like insects or mealworms when they have young.

That's funny, I'll have to let my birds try them.
