fresh v's commercial egg food

Just after some opinions
I use both fresh and commercial egg food, while I am away they only get commercial and when I am home I make them fresh, I like the commercial I get because it has added trace mineral and vitamins but they love the fresh, do you have a preference and why?

I mix the commercial into my homemade eggfood to get a crumbly texture and it lasts longer too.

I also like and use both. I add the commercial dry eggfood to my homemade eggfood to boost the nutritional value and dry it out somewhat. And if I am going to be out of town, I can leave the dry commercial eggfood out without worry about it spoiling.

I use both but separately. For home made, I'll make with Fvite (vitamins&mineral). Also, Sprinkle over eggfood ones a while.

I just use commercial... the reason why is not once but twice my daughters seen it in the fridge and thought it was egg salad (I have a daughter that wont eat mayonnaise so her egg salad is rather dry) and they ate it 
So now I just keep commercial in a zip lock bag in the same cabinet as the seed and supplies
