Does anyone feed or know if fresh corn on the cob (raw) has
any nutritional value?
My finches LOVE this and will absolutely devour it. I give it to them
quite often and am hoping that it is okay for them to eat.

Corn is one thing I haven't tried yet, though I've read of others feeding it to their finches. Do you cut the kernels off the cob, or just put an ear or a piece of an ear in the cage/aviary for them to pick at?

I break an ear in half and put the whole thing in there.
They are on it instantly. They just love it. I have been feeding it to them for about a month now. It doesn't seem to bother them.
They ALL eat it. Even the gouldians.

OH...that is good to know. We grow our own veggies every year and I will have to plant some extra for my birdies!
I already grow my own spray millet and I am just about out now so I will have to plant more this summer.

I also grow my own vegies.
I would LOVE to grow some spray millet so I don't have to buy so much.\
Is it hard to grow and what time of the year do you grow it?
